Dear Alumni,

 Welcome to the Fort Hamilton High School Alumni website.  It is my pleasure to address you as your President.  As a graduate of the Class  0f 1957 and former Principal of Fort Hamilton High School from 1989 - 1999, I am honored to represent our alumni.

A special thank you for all the new members who have sent in their dues.  We did a special malling and our alumni responded with their dues.  This helps sustain the organization, cost of the newsletters, and helps us  to give graduates scholarship monies. 

We regret to inform our swimmers in the FHHS Alumni Swim Program that because of New York City Department of Education's requirement for extremely high insurance and rental  fees for using the swimming facilities, we will not be able to continue our swim program.  Other community groups who are able to pay these fees will still use the pool.  I am  sure that they will allow our members to join.  A very special  thank you to Rose and Eli Abdallah for their  devotion to the Swim Program for sixteen years..

We plan to  hold a Doo Wop in the Spring of 2010. Since the insurance and rental fees for using the school are extremely high, we will have this affair somewhere in the Bay Ridge Community.  Stay in touch.
